After death of husband in 1838 taught mission children at Mangugnu but later went to NSW. JHO
also had children who returned to Australia with her. MCE. Alicia Willis immigrated to left Sydney 16 jan 1833 on the Fortitude. in 1833.3 She was a teacher in Mangungu Mission in 1834.2

Joel Samuel Polack was a trader 1832 ON.1 Note could be two POLACKs ? SLOZ has a passenger POLACK listed as leaving Sydney on the Fortitude 16th Jan 1833 and then there is a second listing for a J S POLACK with servant leaving Sydney on the Fortitude on 21 mar 1833. Note Joel worked in Sydney with his brother Abraham. It is possible that the january passenger was Abraham?
Returned to England 1837 and then back to NZ 1842.

Note there was a Mr POLLACK who travelled to NZ from Sydney on the Caroline august 1841.
