Edward Warner was born about 1815.¹ He and Irihapeti were married in 1843 in Tauranga, NZ.¹ He died about 1844 in at sea?¹

One of my biggest challenges remains finding out about my paternal gg-grandfather, Edward Warner. Edward was a whaler (Scotland/America) who stopped off in Tauranga in 1843, and married Irihapeti - my paternal New Zealand heritage is Bidois/Borell.
Shortly after his marriage he returned to sea and is believed to have died at sea in 1844. Despite, diligent research, DNA testing, commissioned research, visits to Tauranga, I have had no luck in finding any other information on Edward, other than I have outlined above. TORO.

William Henry Worth was a seaman.² My g.g.g.grand father William Henry WORTH arrived in Dunedin on a ship stating he was a seaman. He married an Irish woman in Dunedin in 1863. He was naturalised a NZer in 1904 stating he was from New York, America. I have seen his records but no other information regarding his date of birth, parents etc. He died in NZ and even his death cert can tell me no more. PAHO
could be Captain WORTH of the Lucy Ann which arrived Dunedin 1833.

Our Dairy Flat correspondent states that another old identity, Mr. Charles . Jeffs, passed away after a prolonged illness, on the evening of December 24, at the advanced age of 86 years. Mr. Jeffs first came to these colonies over 60 years ago, but 1 residencein Australia went) borne, finally returning in 1865. He took up land here, upon which he has resided ever linee. At one time ho took a great interest In orchard matters, principally in demonstrating the suitability of the local soil for the growth of open-air grapes. The deceased gentleman was for many years a member of the(;Pukeatua Road Board. He also took an interest in local school mattorß, and occupied a position on the school committee for a number of years. The section of land upon which the Pukeatua schoolroom stands was donated to the Board of Education by him. He leaves a wife, five sons, and two daughters to mourn their loss. The daughters and two sous are married. The deceased was interred in the Albany come tery on Sunday afternoon, The service was conducted by Mr. Holdaworth. A large number followed to the grave. Much sympathy, is felt for the relatives. Charles Jeffs immigrated to to Auckland about 1837.¹
