Elizabeth Curtis were married on 2 January 1809 in Weymouth, Dorsetshire, ENG. He died in 1817, at age ~42, in died at sea on the Brig Nancy.
Jacob (John) (HEBERLEIN) Heberley was in seaman. Abt 1790 captured at sea by James CURTIS an English privateer and taken to Weymouth. Later married CURTIS's daughter. HH.

Charlotte Nash was baptised in Saint Dunstan, Stepney, London on 4 January 1829. She was the daughter of George Nash & Charlotte Frazer.[1]
Charlotte Emily Joyce was aged 21 years when in December 1850 she set sail on the Canterbury association's sixth ship, Isabella Hercus, arriving in Lyttelton, New Zealand in March 1851. Already in New Zealand before the arrival of the first ship, Charlotte Jane was Matthew Lee Joyce and they married at the, then, temporary Anglican Church in Lyttelton on Dec 10 1851.
Matthew was a pork butcher a trade his father kept in England and he in partnership with Charles Turner had a run near Styx In Christchurch. Matthew also had shops and property in CHCH town center.
There is a small trail of their ventures and travels such as a record of him purchasing an engine from the Provincial Secretary in 1862
They were also both involved in a court case from when a servant maid stole some items from Mrs Joyce.
The first of their children were baptised at St Michaels church in the central city but it seems they moved to Riccarton with the later children being baptised at St Peter Church in Upper Riccarton, with one dying as a baby and being laid to rest in that cemetery.
The next appearance is of them in Marlborough and then in 1868 Matthew drowning off Hokitika.
It seems from Charlotte's will she was not of poor means, owning land in Blenheim Picton and Randwick Australia as well as having funds in a building society.
However about 10 years after Matthews drowning, she remarried to Captain James Worser Heberley, a very early pioneer.
She predeceased Mr Heberley by about 6 months and she is buried in Picton Cemetery.[2]. Charlotte Emily Nash immigrated to ENG to Lyttleton on the Isabella Hercus in December 1850.
