Later went to Kawhia with family.

I'm trying to trace my GG grandfather.
We don't have a lot of information about him so it's like finding a needle in a haystack.
His name is George (Korehako/Korihako) Hull.
From the stories we've been told, he changed his name to Hull, not sure if it was before he arrived in NZ or while he was here?
He married Maanga Maurea in the Kawhia area.
We're trying to determine if he is of Scottish heritage as we believe, he comes from the McGregor clan, however no documentation to prove this.
My Great Grandmother (his daughter) was born in 1875, so estimated his birth to around 1850, perhaps earlier.
Any possible leads would be greatly appreciated
Kind regards,Peter
