Waimea previously the partner of James Foster and raised Tiaki and Ani Foster as well as her own daughter Jenny Foster.
Ani and Jenny Foster married brothers Bill and Bob Sherburd, the sons of Waimea's second partner William Sherburd.
The interconnections between these families are complex and difficult to clearly delineate, a problem Wohlers also appears
