John Tannahill and Marrion Caldwell had a daughter Jane, who was born 1837 in Huntington Canada where she married John Vallance in 1860, he had also emigrated to Canada from Gumnock Ayr Scotland. John and Jane at some time emigrated to New Zealand around 1863, and one of their 6 children Alexander b 1869 married my great aunty Frances Skudder.
What I was wondering was, have you any info on dates, and ships, of when the Tannahill's emigrated to Canada, as I fell that they might of sailed on the same ship as the Vallance's, and any info on emigration to Canada, seems to be very limited in the early 1800's.
