Birth: FHL 1,041,376 Fenwick OPR Part 1, Births Sect. 1, p. 4. The birth record only says "Archbal, son to John Tunnahill in Fennick chr 21 or 24 July 1647". There is another John T. that has one child - chr 1654 at Hershaw, but there are no other John Tannahills having kids in the OPR during this time period. Since John at Aikenhead has children chr. 1645, possibly one in 1651 -( a child's death is recorded that year), and 1652, it seemed likely that Archibald was the son of John Tannahill at Aikenhead.
