lost sight for some months after an explosion from a cannon on the HMS Regina in dec 1841, New Plymouth. Other officers were Capt LIARDET and CUTFIELD.
Captain WATSON and crew called on to go to rescue of GASCOINE family. PUAR
6 children 4 died in 1861 in diptheria epidemic PUAR. He was a chief officer on the Amelia Thompson in 1841.
