William George Runnalls Wyeth was born on 27 April 1841 in Wellington, NZ.^1,2,3 He and Mary Horsfall were married. He died on 8 July 1916, at age 75, in Masterton, NZ.²

Mr. Wyeth was born in Wellington in 1841, and is the son of Mr. Robert Wyeth, of Masterton, who arrived in Port Nicholson on the 3rd of January, 1840, by the New Zealand Company's survey vessel ?Cuba.? Mr. Wyeth was then a single man. Among the passengers by the ?Duke of Roxburgh,? which arrived on the 7th of the following month, was a single lady passenger named Miss Runalls. Though the young people had never previously met, they soon agreed to make a home in the new land, and were married two months later, and in the following March their son was born. Educated in Wellington, Mr. Wyeth soon gained experience of country life, engaging in busshfelling and other pursuits in and around the Hutt Valley until 1883, when he removed to Masterton and established his present business. Mr. Wyeth's is the only store in Kuripuni, and being well liked in the neighbourhood, he does a good steady trade. Mr. Wyeth was married in 1896 to Miss Mary Horsefall, formerly of Yorkshire, England, but more recently of the South Island.

Two old district residents, Mr. and Mrs Thomas Wyeth, of Lansdowne, Masterton, celebrated their golden wedding on Tuesday night at the home of their son-in-law, Mr Norman Blatehford, manager of the Wairarapa Training Farm. There were forty-six relatives present, Mr Wyeth was born in Wellington in 1849. His father landed at Britannia now known as Pet-one. from the survey ship Cuba in 1839. Mrs Wyeth (nee Miss M. McLeod) was born in Wellington in 1859, her father arriving in the Glenn in 1857. Mr and Mrs Wyeth wert married at Miki Maki by the Rev. L. M. Isitt (now the Hon. Mr. Isitt). There are six sons and four daughters of the marriage, all of _ whom were born at Miki Miki. Numerous congratulatory letters and telegrams were received by Mr. and Mrs Wyeth from all parts of New Zealand. In his younger days Mr. Wyeth, who was a noted athlete, was the long distance champion of New Zealand. Mr. J. Wyeth, of Foxton, is a brother of Mr. T. Wyeth. The latter was also a well-known athlete in his younger daVs.
