Just looking at your website. It looks pretty good. I just spotted an error regarding whom William Williams married in NZ in Wellington on 17 January 1853 to Rebecca Bryan. He didn't marry Ellen Forbes. He did die in 1914. Refer page 8 my book Williams & Sons (1995). I'm currently rewriting first chapter to correct some errors particularly the name of William Williams 1s wife Mary James (not Griffith as we previously thought ) KWI. Robert and his Elizabeth Wilton and their family were bound for New Plymouth and arrived enroute at Wellington on the "Oriental" in 1841. It was here that the family disembarked because of the health of Elizabeth who had suffered badly during the voyage from England . Today the name Wilton is widely known throughout Wellington and the Wairarapa and it is probable that the descendants of Robert and Elizabeth form New Zealand's largest family. - A substantial project is underway to trace all the known descendants of Robert and Elizabeth and at the present time (March 2002) the database includes in excess of 11,000 individuals.
