Left England 9 sep 1845 and returned to Otago (via Nelson and Wellington) with wife on the "Mary Catherine" arriving 23 feb 1846. in charge of survey of Dunedin TM. He immigrated to arrived Wellington 31 jan 1840 on the Oriental in 1839.1
