Francis Greer was born in 1809 in Glasgow, LNK, SCT.1 He and Agnes McLEAN were married. He died on 15 May 1855, at age ~46, in Porirua, Wellington, NZ.1,2
Francis Greer and his wife Agnes sailed to New Zealand on the RAJAH which landed first in Otago on 6th October 1853 then continued on to Wellington, with the Greers, on 29th November arriving in Wellington on 17th December 1853
They travelled in an enclosed berth with the five youngest children, daughters Isabella, Eleanor, and Mary and sons Francis and Samuel - they were aged from 16 years to 1
Their sons Hugh and Francis travelled in steerage
There is no mention of Agnes - because she had married 2 years previously I am assuming at this time that she stayed behind PECK. Francis Greer immigrated to arrived Wellington feb 1855 in 1854.3
