From Dawn WEBSTER:
" There are quite a few family stories but we have not been able to verify them but have a lot on his life after 1860.
He was probably a whaler.
Possibly known at times as Charlie DIAMOND.
Brought his wife and two children from Tasmania to Okains Bay on Banks Peninsula.
Possibly and Italian Count from Livorno. His convict description says he had a coat of arms tattoo on his arm and on the other a flag. We have traced his parents in Livorno. It is told he had a wife who died in childbirth in USA and 2 children were brought up by grandparents. I am present writing his whole story" Dawn WEBSTER DWE.
