This Capt HANSON was sent by KING, Lieutenant-Governer of Norfolk Island sent him in the HMS Daedalus to go to Doubtless Bay and persuade two Maori to go to Norfolk to teach flax dressing. Captain (Lieutenant) Hanson was a Captain of Daedalus in 1791.2
