James Hopkins Stevens was a boatman in Wellington and they were at Pipitea. There was a James Stevens who had the Queens Head Inn at the top of Molesworth Street, but am not sure they were the same person. The reason I am interested in that one is because the Queen's Head was taken over in about 1854 by Thomas Henry Clapham, my 2x great grandfather.IACL. James Hopkins Stevens was a boatman, Pipitea, Wellington from 1848 to 1850.
